Roland joined CEDEP in July 2026, with responsibility for the development and innovation of CEDEP’s programme portfolio. He brings more than twenty years of experience leading international academic institutions and advising them on programme strategy and growth.
Before joining CEDEP, Roland worked as an independent strategy consultant for business schools and universities across Europe and the Middle East, advising on executive education portfolios, new programme launches and institutional transformation. Prior to that, he was Director of External Engagement and Master Programmes at ESMT Berlin, where he built multi-year corporate learning partnerships, led open enrolment programme sales, and launched two new master’s degrees in Analytics & AI and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
From 2012 to 2021, Roland was Executive Director of the CEMS Global Alliance, a network of 33 leading business schools and more than 70 corporate partners. During his tenure, the alliance grew from a European network into a global one, tripling enrolment while strengthening academic quality across all member institutions.
Roland holds a Diploma in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin. He works in English, French, German and Italian.
