Pascal Belaud is the EVP / Chief AI and Data Officer at Truist Financial Corporation, one of the largest financial services organizations in the United States. In this role, he is responsible for enterprise‑wide AI, data, and analytics strategy, including the deployment of responsible, secure, and scalable AI across the bank’s businesses and operations.
Pascal leads the firm’s transformation toward an agentic, data‑driven enterprise—overseeing advanced analytics, digital labor, and AI governance frameworks that balance innovation with regulatory rigor. His work focuses on enabling measurable business outcomes while ensuring trust, resilience, and ethical use of AI in highly regulated environments.
Before joining Truist, Pascal spent more than 30 years in technology, including over 25 years at Microsoft, where he led industry-shaping AI and cloud initiatives for the US financial services sector. He held a number of leadership positions during his tenure at Microsoft, across AI, data and data insights, customer success, analytics, cloud, machine learning, predictive analysis, generative AI and agentic AI and has been speaking on these topics at conferences across the country and abroad.
Pascal is based in New York.
