Group Vice President for Health, Safety and Well-being, Safran

Véronique Zerrouki is Group Vice President for Health, Safety and Well-being at Safran, one of the world’s leading aerospace and defense groups. In this role, she defines and coordinates the Group’s Health and Safety policy across more than 250 industrial sites worldwide, driving its Global Health and Safety Culture Transformation program in alignment with the company’s broader ESG commitments. She leads a community of around 800 HSE professionals across Safran’s global operations and reports regularly to the Group’s Executive Committee.
Véronique brings to the Board a 25-year career at Safran that spans shopfloor engineering, major program management, operational excellence, and large-scale organizational transformation. Prior to her current role, she served as Head of Performance, Operational Excellence, Transformation and Innovation at Safran Aircraft Engines, leading a team of 25 professionals, including Master Black Belts and Black Belts. Before that, as Engagement and Leadership Project Director, she designed and led the company-wide transformation plan under direct CEO sponsorship, building networks of change ambassadors and developing leadership programs for hundreds of managers.
Earlier in her career, Véronique held program management roles spanning civil and military engine platforms — including customers such as Boeing and Dassault — working across Safran and GE Aviation. She began her career as a Metallurgical and Processes Engineer and holds a patent in high-speed drilling, and a Customer Satisfaction Innovation Award.
A founding member of the Boardroom offices in Paris, an initiative dedicated to preparing executive women for board positions, Véronique is a committed advocate for inclusive leadership and organizational transformation. She holds a degree in Technical and Research in Materials from Paris-Saclay University and has completed executive education programs at Wharton Business School (CHRO), INSEAD, and ESCP Business School.
Véronique joined the CEDEP Board in 2026.
