Cate brings a critical mind and a creative spirit to leadership program design and development. With 20+ years of experience in the field of leadership development, she has designed and delivered complex, customized programs for multinationals, NGOs and governments.
Cate began her career in corporate HR in South Africa, her home country. She relocated to Brussels after several years, founding her own leadership development consultancy and coaching practice. Since 2015 she has worked extensively in partnership with the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) and the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP) on projects in Europe the Middle East and Africa. She works with leaders at all levels from young high potentials to the C-Suite.
Cate is licensed in the following tools and psychometrics: WPB5, FIRO-B, DiSC, MBTI, Influence Style Indicator, Change Style Indicator, Virtual Facilitation, Polarity Thinking (PACT), Actee Change and others. She is trained in Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Systemic Constellations for Coaching.
Cate has a Bachelors degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in HRM. She is committed to advancing the positive impact of leadership in the world and is currently completing her PhD in the field of responsible leadership.
