David Hutchens is an author, facilitator, business writer and learning designer who uses narrative to facilitate engagement, alignment, learning and change in some of the world’s most influential organisations. With more than 30 years of organisational learning experience, he is now CEO of The Storytelling Leader, a consultancy helping senior leaders develop voice of engagement skills.
David has authored nine books including his latest, Story Dash, that equips leaders with tools and processes to find, develop and activate their most valuable business stories. He is also a creator and facilitator of innovative leadership experiences, such as The Team USA Leadership Experience at the Olympic Training Center and The Apollo Leadership Experience at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
David has a bachelor of science in communications from the University of Texas in Austin and is based in the US.
At CEDEP, David develops and delivers modules focused on storytelling as a leadership discipline and organisational capability.
